Bill Bailey has said "It's hard to believe" as the comedian is left devastated by a pal's death. BBC Strictly Come Dancing winner Bill paid tribute to Sean Lock, two years on from the Channel 4 8 Out of 10 Cats star died.

Sharing a snap of himself with Sean, Bill said: "Today it’s two years since we lost Sean. It’s hard to believe sometimes that he’s not here. Miss you old friend." Chris replied: "I hope his neighbours kept that card with MOONBEAM written on it, a lovely keepsake."

"We are so sorry @BillBailey - sending you and Sean's family and friends all our love and support. Anniversaries are very hard," said The Good Grief Trust. Samantha J Wright said: "We miss him too. I watched an old clip of his the other day. Never failed to make me laugh. He left behind a wonderful legacy. Thank you Sean."

"I can’t believe it’s that long. He reminds me so much of my dad who died in 2016, and he would he totally get his humour," Jason said. Metal Think said: "I never really processed it when it happened. I got the news, but it never felt real because his material didn't go anywhere, so now I am struck with renewed grief and surprise every time I forget and someone reminds me."

Crossing The Line said: "I've just been watching some of his highlights on count down. I always have a good laugh, and then I get that twinge of pain. The world lost a great person." Sacha said: "Very sad. I can’t remember laughing as hard as when watching him shoot the shit on panel shows like 8 out of 10 cats :(."

Icarus typed: "he was a funny man, a proper funny man, sharp as a tack and quick as whippet. He used to make me howl and have that side pain". Dr Scott said: "Heartbreaking. I still haven’t come to terms with this. The time I met Sean was one of the best days of my life. One of those memories which is crystal clear no matter how many years pass. Thank you Sean for being such a class act."

Caravan said: "We are just pretending he’s nipped down Aldi on some catalogue razzle-dazzle promise and will return shortly with a 2 litre jar of sauerkraut and an electric log splitter."
